Diane has been in professional management positions
for over 15 years. This combined with a strong background in the computer &
travel industries certainly is an asset in managing a crew placement agency and
keeping its database on the cutting edge. One of the key focuses that Diane has
is to make it as efficient as possible for all of The Crew Network's Worldwide
offices to locate the highest quality crew members for any yacht any where in
the world. The web site is also designed to recruit and inform qualified crew
from all over the world and for Owners/Captains to get professional
information. Her previous experience working on yachts as a Stewardess,
Deckhand, Cook and Nanny makes her understand the importance of finding great
crew for great yachts. |

Ian Pelham
Director, TCN Worldwide
ian.pelham@crewnetwork.com |
Ian earned a
degree in Finance from Loyola University of Chicago. After graduating, he took
positions in finance and management before relocating to
Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida.
In Florida Ian
worked with both Renaissance Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line. While working with the
cruise ships, Ian oversaw the administration of all crew issues ?
from sourcing and staffing to management and legalities. Having worked with various
flag and port state authorities, Ian?s experience brought him into
negotiations with both government bodies and sea-farer unions. His ship experience ran the
complete life cycle from new-builds to operations to vessel
decommissioning.
Ian joined The
Crew Network in 2002 where he quickly realized that although the
crewing issues facing the luxury yacht market were similar to those
issues facing shipping, addressing these issues with the ship model
would never be successful.
After a complete
immersion into the luxury yachting industry, Ian refocused The Crew
Network?s commitment away from the traditional agency model of
handing out resumes, to a new and innovative model of offering the
yacht owner the same service levels that they require of their
onboard crew.
The results
speak for themselves.
The Crew Network Worldwide has now expanded to 8 cities and
has pledged to continue to expand both geographically and in
operations to raise the bar yet again in our service to the owners.

Robert grew up on the Delaware River near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he developed a love for the water. After graduating from Penn State University with a B.S. in hotel and restaurant management, he worked in human resources for a luxury hotel where he was responsible for staffing a wide variety of positions - from engineers to room attendants. It is through this experience in the luxury service industry that Robert brings a strong understanding of recruiting and hiring top notch candidates. Moving to Fort Lauderdale and into the professional crew placement industry was an easy choice for Robert, allowing him to combine his passion for the water with his recruiting background.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys kayaking, the beach, jogging and biking. |

this adventure Heather brought her love of sailing and hospitality ashore where
she managed a high end café at The Newport Shipyard and Marina. The
business focused on catering to numerous mega yachts and racing vessels.
Four years ashore and Heather decided to cruise the waters once again. She
crewed as a stewardess traveling through out Europe, the Caribbean, and
New England
aboard a mega yacht. After a few
years back at sea Heather has moved ashore and joined our team at The Crew
Network. She brings with her a
vast knowledge of the yachting industry and vessel operations.
In her free time Heather enjoys practicing yoga, doing ballet and reading.

Jenny was born in Ft. Lauderdale, and grew up in the area until she was 12 years old. Due to her grandfather?s business she eventually moved up to St. Augustine with her family. During that time, Jenny enjoyed the beautiful northern Florida weather and spent valuable time with her family and friends. She finished her schooling in St. Augustine and then went on to attend Saint Johns River Community College. Jenny decided on a career in the yachting industry and made her way back down to the Ft. Lauderdale area to start working with The Crew Network.
Jenny enjoys living close to the ocean and being outdoors as much as possible, preferably on a boat somewhere! In her spare time, she likes to exercise and travel. |
